Successful Sash Window Replacement in Conservation Area

Traditional Designs And High-Performance With Cardinal Wooden Sliding Sash Windows

Traditional Wood Sash Windows

The Conservation architects had the challenge to replace the original sliding sash windows of a building in a Conservation area.

Due to a severe fire, the windows were irreversibly damaged and needed a complete replacement with accurate replication.

The Cardinal Windows mobile showroom was called on-site with samples of our wooden sash windows and accessories, which met the conservation requirements due to the design characteristics of traditionally detailed, high-quality timber windows.

Through the Cardinal Windows Builder, the architect was able to order +20 standard weighted sash windows with external sash horns that met the brief and budget. Cardinal sash windows for conservation areas meet building regulations while upgrading energy efficiency with high-performance materials.

Installation details are available for builders to carry out works with ease and within reliable lead times.

I ordered 15 sliding sash windows for my home refurbishment project and had my builder install the windows for me. I think I spent hours playing around with the different design options on the window builder! I absolutely love my new windows!
