We do not install the windows as the Cardinal Windows Online Shop is strictly for supplying products. Installation should be arranged with a recognised company.

The products are German engineered and manufactured in our Lithuanian manufacturing plant.

Yes, all our products are manufactured from engineered knot free timber.

Cardinal Windows Online Shop offers pine wood frame and Sapele hardwood sill as standard. Oak frames are offered as an optional in the Window Builder.

Yes, our timber comes from sustainable sources and from FSC accredited suppliers.

The windows are manufactured and tested to BSEN Standard 14351 (CE marked).

All our products are carefully wrapped, identified and securely positioned in pallets with labelled references on each window.

Cardinal offers a factory painted finish using Teknos paint systems.

Glass in its standard specification, when broken, will leave shards of glass in the frame or on the surrounding areas. These shards are very dangerous and can cause severe damage to people.

Tempered glass, in contrast, when broken become rounded pebbles which are not dangerous to persons in the surrounding areas.

Generally, all glass below 800 mm from the floor will require safety glass, all door glass will also need tempering and glass panels beside doors will need glass below 1500 from the floor to be tempered.

Please note that tempering the lower sash may only be necessary to comply with these requirements.

The above covers general requirements, however, there may be other areas requiring tempered glass. You should confirm the requirements with professional advisors.

You may choose to collect windows at a depot or pay delivery charges to a specified location. Products must be paid in full before delivery.
